Ms. Machiko received her formal training from The Juilliard School, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and Tokyo National University of the Arts (Tokyo Gei Dai).
Machiko is an international acclaimed concert violinist and experienced violin teacher for more than 20 years, especially for beginners and young children.
She is a kind, bright and fun teacher to attract students to study music and violin. She loves young children and she is very passionate to share her love for music and violin to them. She believes herself as a violin ambassador to give chances to learn about the violin!!

Are you interested in your kids learning violin but not sure if they really commit learning it?
Starting violin requires a lot because you have to buy or rent a new instrument which you do not know very well, which size ? what brand ? etc.
Here is the class for you! Machiko created this class of introduction of violin for absolute beginners to get to know about the instrument. You will hear Machiko playing beautiful melodies by her violin as well as learning about instrument. You do not even need the instrument yet.
It is important to get to know about instrument before starting playing it! This class is a perfect preparation to deal with this very fragile instrument. You can learn all basics that you need to know. By the end of semester, you will start learning how to stand, how to hold the violin and the bow.
This is a 30 min violin class for absolute beginners. Class consists learning very basic such as getting to know names of the parts , strings, singing with strings, learning how to stand and how to hold violin and bow as well as listening to violin music played by a world acclaimed violinist, Machiko to get to know how the violin sounds like.
